Tercapai sudah...

yes, 2-3 menjak ni saya asek nak makan sahaja...:P

ada masa hangin juga 1 badan..but then, nak kata apa..anak2 kan?

anyway, Sabtu malam Ahad yang lepas, Inche' SO sudah bukak mulut bertanyakan samada I was in the mood of having outside food?

Mulut ni gatal je menjawab "NO" sebab saya dah dpt bayangkan betapa "havoc" nya restoran tu nanti dengan jeritan &hilaian gelak ketawa anak2 bertuah saya..:P

Tapi Inche' SO tersenyum sengih dengan saya...

I.SO : Betul taknak makan kat luar? I was thinking to have a breather..that's all..
Me   : Seriously, I don't think the children are ready yet ah yang..
I.SO : Sure ah?
Me   : Why suddenly?
I.SO : Was thinking ....uhmmm...seafood?!!!
**Note: I wasn't there anymore to give him a proper response. I was already running to change and get the boys ready**

tempat dia agak jin bertendang sket...masuk je kat area situ, saya dah suruh Inche' SO pasang CD ngaji siap-siap..memang, saya yang nak sangat makan seafood - but saya tak rela kalau say pergi dan balik "membawa" makhluk yang tak di ingini....:P

it was a small restaurant..a very friendly owner that personally greets you and very knowledgeable waiters that gives you the best that the restaurant had to offer..I had a good time..

...and yang mebuatkan saya lebih terharu...Inche' SO single-handedly handled the boys on his own, leaving me enjoying my food to the fullest..Thank you, darling!!!

Menu kami?

jeng jeng jeng...**sila lah terliur!**

Garlic-steamed lobsters
**original flavour with not-too pungent smell / taste of the garlic**

Deep-fried Seabass in Sweet & Sour Sauce
**extra sedap because they deep-fry the fish in tepung and it was crispy till the end..love it love it**

Deep-fried Squid in Nestum
**'nuff said...cuma it's a gamey and chewy for me. Inche' SO fav**

Chilli Crab
**this was the menu of the day...the gravy was so thick and creamy --> I gave into temptation and asked the waiter to ta-pau the gravy home. I am imagining my fish being splashed with love of this gravy**

Japanese food anyone?

Hari ni dengan jayanya "meleburkan" diet kerana Inche' SO mahu melapangkan masa bersama-sama untuk brunch..and I decided to have Japanese food.

Lo' and behold the glory of ....**JENG JENG JENG**...OKONOMIYAKI...

nampak macam serabut kan?

mcm tak sedap je...but, it's very delish for me...memula nak amek, rasa tamak nah..niat nak amek dlm 2-3 pet sekali..then, Inche' SO sudah kasi satu jelingan manja untuk menyedarkan diri yang sebenarnya saya masih dlm usaha menurunkan berat badan, kan kan kan...

susah nak explain mcm mana rasanya..but kalau ikut englishfriendlyrestaurantsosaka it's actually Japanese pizza-->Okonomiyaki consists of batter with lots of flour, cabbage, yam and egg.  You will usually have a choice of pork **NO, mine was HALAL**, meat or various seafoods (to add into the batter). Finally , it is topped with a special sauce, mayonnaise...

Hmm..masih terasa sedapnya!hi hi hi hi...

a) saya lebih prefer khidmat pembantu tempatan
d) perlu byk sabar kerana tugas utamanya menjaga anak-anak saya sahaja..

hmmm?

Recipe: Spaghetti with Garlic, Anchovies and Parsley

Wanna have a try?

Here's a recipe I stumbled upon HERE .Serves 2 as a main course; 4 as a side or appetizer

Serve this pasta with a spinach salad, dressed with chopped capers, red onion, olive oil, and wine vinegar. Both the pasta and salad enhance each other if mingled: Arrange the salad on each plate, then mound the pasta on top, finishing with a spoonful of salad on top of the pasta.
11 ounces dried spaghetti
3 to 4 whole salted anchovies
About 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced paper-thin
1/2 cup minced parsley
Red pepper flakes or black pepper to taste
Grated romano or parmigiano cheese

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta. Cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and keep warm, reserving some of the pasta water. While the water heats and pasta cooks, prepare the sauce.
Rinse, bone and fillet the anchovies.Coarsely chop the fillets into small pieces, but don't mince or mash them; they should be small, chunky bits.
Heat half the oil in a skillet until hot. Toss in the garlic slices; they should sizzle but not brown instantly. Stir the garlic around for a few seconds. When the garlic starts to show signs of browning, add the parsley all at once. Stir as it sizzles. When the parsley stops sizzling, mix in the cooked pasta, a tablespoon or so of the pasta cooking water and most of the remaining olive oil (you may not need all of the oil; adjust the amount to taste). If the pasta seems dry, stir in a bit more of the pasta cooking water. Coat the pasta well and add pepper to taste. Toss in the anchovies and mix.
Serve the pasta, passing the cheese on the side, preferably with a tart salad.

Resepi Western pt.I

Inche' SO nak caya mula masak Western & Italian dishes..

wahhh!!!!

Inche' SO sudah tak larat mahu suap nasi doploh pat jam..and yes, I agree..

Jangan kata apa, saya sendiri dah tak larat nak pikir apa nak masak tiap2 hari..:P

It is call CAPERS..

...bottled capers...

Just wondering ek apa fungsi capers ni..and most importantly ..What is a CAPER?

...fresh capers...
According to About.Com- Home Cooking; CAPERS are the unripened flower buds of Capparis  spinosa, a prickly, perennial plant which is native to the Mediteranian and some parts of Asia.  After the buds are harvested, they are dried in the sun, then pickled in vinegar, brine, wine or salt. The curing brings out the tangy lemony flavor the same as green olives. Some of the food critics also mention that if you eat a lot of caper, you will have bad breath. How? Beats me!

So, kengkawan..My new project will be making a compilation of recipes consisting of Western all-rounder food..kalau ada sapa2 yang mau kongsi-kongsi..meh lah!:D

I need a short GETAWAY....

rutin harian dah terlalu RUTIN..**I know, a bit cliche'**

And I am really looking forward to go somewhere..anywhere, for that matter..

There's a plan to go to PD and judging by the pictures posted on their official website..It looks promising..

and it would be more exciting as Inche' SO cousins & family would be there as well..But this is actually our second time round planning for the event, and mebbe kansel jugak koz a) macam takde sambutan, b) nampak macam memasing ada plan memasing dan c) mebbe diorg taknak jalan skang, nak save up holidays untuk next school holidays kot?**apa2 pun, memasing punya plan kan?..Takkan nak paksa plaks?**

Apa2pun, Inche' SO dah janji..kalaulah kata tiada sapa yang memberikan respon postif to THAT getaway..Dia ada rancang for us to go for a short trip to the East Coast - jenguk jalan2 Kelantan, Terengganu..

wah wah wah, best jugak tu..
Sejak abes belajar kat USMCK, I have never been there yet..tak dpt nak bayangkan how much it would've changed since the last time I was there..Mesti banyak yang berubah..and rasanya nak propose kat Inche' SO for us to stop by kat mana-mana pengusaha batik as I think I wanna start another business- melibatkan fabrik batik & songket **itupun kalau Inche' SO ada rezeki lebih kan?**

So kita tengok je lah nanti..we have , like, about 3 more weeks to go and see how the responses are...

TUNGGGUUU...!
